Al-isyarat  wa at tanbihat (remark and admonition) reflect avicenna mature thinking on a variety of logical and metaphysical issues , according to Gutas it was written  in Isfahan in early 10305. According to Michot , it dates from an erlier  period in hamadan and possibly rayy.  

Hume is philosopher who maintained that no certainty exist about anything, thaT even the best method of reasoning , leave us shy of the truth  or fail  to resolve conflicting  claims  to be truth, and that a person should suspend  judgement rather that accept dogmatic belief.
