Taqlid Definisi - Secara bahasa taqlid berarti menggantungkan sesuatu pada sesuatu yang lain, memiliki akar kata; qallada – yuqallidu – taqliydan. - Secara istilah fiqh taqlid berarti mengerjakan suatu aktifitas (amal) dengan bersandarkan kepada fatwa seorang mujtahid (baca; pribadi yang telah memiliki kemampuan untuk menyimpulkan hukum dari sumber aslinya) Dalil dibolehkannya taqlid a. Dalil ‘aqliy Hukum-hukum Allah SWT baik yang harus dikerjakan atau yang harus ditinggalkan bersumber kepada Al Quran dan Hadits. Ada dua problem (kesulitan) untuk dapat melakukan penyimpulan hukum dari dua sumber tersebut. Pertama : Memastikan bahwa dalil yang akan kita gunakan memang betul-betul dari Allah SWT (ayat Al Quran) atau betul merupakan hadits Nabi atau para Imam as.
